before you get the wrong impression..

I guess I started this as a personal style blog, but actually my life goes beyond that. As a matter of fact my life is pretty fantastic in many aspects (not only my style ;$) and I think  you'll be missing out if I were to focus solely on my ootd, so from today on I will be sharing a bit more.
I'm constantly travelling. Either I'm flying across the pond or roadtrippin' north and south, east and west. I find pleasure in breathing in new experiences that make me feel full of life. I once came across a word and now I feel I'm living it.

Jenga!

chicken leg..

she <3's me
(cardigan, BR; sheer top, TopShop; pinstripe pants, J&Company)

Feeling playful in the park (again). Reason we visit the park so often: Chi-Cha. Sometimes we run, sometimes we walk-the-line and some other times we just play with what is already there. Like this great tower of bricks just sitting there jenga style. Did you know that jenga is derived from a Swahili word meaning "to build"?

I-O-U

Gone for too long... So yes, on this one I'm trying to catch up by posting not only one, but many looks. From dancing in the park to elevator rides and barefoot walks on the beach. I'm frequently on the road and constantly outdoors. My best companion (besides Chi-Cha), my hat. If I look good I feel good and I like looking and feeling good ;)

Ecuadorian style

(hat, METIER; striped flats, zara; scarf, YSL; jeans, Gap; red blazer, vintage; yellow sweater, vintage; Quito sunset)

Yellow, blue and red outfit inspired on the Ecuadorian flag. Everyone is wearing their yellow t-shirts out today as Ecuador is playing a football match against Chile here in Quito. The fever is apparently contagious and I have been touched, but I rather support the national team with my own style. This hat has more of the Ecuadorian spirit than any other thing to me. It was hand-woven by en Ecuadorian artisan, with Ecuadorian natural straw harvested from an Ecuadorian tropical jungle. Its band was hand-embroidered in an Ecuadorian Andean village called Zuleta and I'm an Ecuadorian girl. Go Ecuador!!!
